ABOUT

The Morris Park Roller Hockey League was established in 1995 as a non-profit organization open to children in the Morris Park community. Since then, many of our players have gone on to play hockey at all different levels, including the professional and collegiate levels. Though our hockey experiences have taken some of us all across the world, the Morris Park Roller Hockey League is still home to each and everyone of us. Before we all dreamed of playing at an elite level, before all the politics and before we all went our seperate ways, it was just us, a pair of old roller skates and a roll of black friction tape as our hockey puck. It wasn't much, but there was no better place to be in the mid-90's for hockey players than at Loreto Playground on Sunday afternoons.

Today, we operate as an established men's league with teams from all over the Bronx. Our men's league offers one of the finest roller rinks in the Bronx and features street ice playing surface, an electronic scoreboard, lights for night games and an up-to-date website that features team stats, standings and schedule.
